The NASUWT has a successful annual programme of Consultation Conferences for the five groups of members who are most under-represented in the lay structures of the Union: Black, Disabled, LGBTI, Women and Young members.
These events provide opportunities to hear from high-profile external speakers, debate current topics and network with colleagues.
Issues arising from the conferences are used to inform and shape NASUWT policy and practice with governments, national bodies, trade unions, schools and colleges.
