This course is only for members who teach in Wales.
A practical course for an employee to become a Mental Health First Aider in the workplace and to:

spot early signs;

help someone who is experiencing a problem;

provide help on a first aid basis;

help stop a mental illness from getting worse;

help someone to recover faster;
-
guide someone to the right support; and
-
reduce the stigma of mental health problems.
The maximum number of attendees is 16.
Members in England should attend the Mental Health First Aid (England) course.
Supply teachers
Please note that this course is not suitable for supply teachers. Supply teachers who wish to undertake Mental Health First Aid training should apply to attend the Mental Health First Aid Half Day Adult course.
