NASUWT is shocked by the horrific attack at Bondi Beach yesterday.

Our thoughts are with all those affected, their families and loved ones, and with the wider community traumatised by this appalling act of violence.

As a trade union rooted in solidarity, equality and anti-racism, NASUWT stands in solidarity with the Jewish community in Australia and around the world.

Antisemitism has no place in our societies, in our schools or in our communities and violence driven by hatred must be unequivocally condemned.

NASUWT believes in international solidarity and the collective responsibility of trade unions to stand together against racism, discrimination and violence wherever they occur.

We reaffirm our commitment to working with partners globally to promote peace, inclusion and safety for all and to challenge hatred in all its forms.
