UPDATE - new live video platform

We have expanded our network of communications to include Crowdcast so that we can keep in touch with you through a programme of online webinars.

The NASUWT is fully committed to responding positively to the situation created by the COVID-19 lockdown and social distancing by using new channels of communications to provide expert guidance on the issues you're facing in circumstances that are unprecedented in our lifetimes.

Crowdcast is a live video platform that is compatible on most platforms and devices, including tablets and smartphones, so you don't even have to move off your sofa to take part.

All webinars last 30 minutes from 7pm and include a live Q&A. Join us by registering on our Crowdcast channel.

In light of the situation with regard to COVID-19 (coronavirus), the NASUWT decided, in the interests of the health and safety of members and in view of the growing pressures on staffing in schools, to cancel scheduled training courses until September, when the situation will be reviewed.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but we are sure you will appreciate our reasons for making this decision.

Any colleagues who are undertaking training for the purpose of casework accreditation will be contacted separately with further information regarding their accreditation.

The NASUWT provides a range of specific courses for supply teachers throughout the year, many of which take place during the weekend or outside of term time.

The Union recognises that some supply teachers are not able to access continuing professional development (CPD) courses alongside other teachers and has therefore included a wide range of professional courses on relevant subjects.
