This one-day course supports Secretaries in Local Associations and Federations in broadening their understanding of the functions and responsibilities of various aspects of the Union's democratic structures. The course will cover the role and nomination process of Standing Orders, the Honorary Treasurer and National Executive Members.

The course will address the equalities agenda, covering the various Advisory Committees and their role and function within NASUWT.

The day concludes with an understanding and the development of Annual Conference motions that help shape NASUWT policy.
