The NASUWT Women Teachers' Consultation Conference will take place on Saturday 2 October 2021 and will be a webinar event, using a virtual platform designed and developed specifically for this conference.
The Conference is for all NASUWT women members and will be fully accessible.
Once again, women and girls, in the UK and round the world, have been hit hardest by the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. This Conference will explore how women teachers can continue to enhance their professional and personal lives in the face of ever increasing and new challenges.
The Conference will include a panel session with high profile national and international speakers - speaker names will be confirmed nearer the time - with the theme of 'Covid -combatting the global impact on women and girls'. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions to the panel on the day.
The issues covered at the Conference will include:
" Flexible working;
" Job-sharing Union roles (flexible working);
" Women's wellbeing;
" Panel discussion; and
" Interactive voting session (your voice).
The Conference will also be addressed by Dr Patrick Roach, General Secretary of the NASUWT.
