The NASUWT Disabled Teachers' Consultation Conference will take place on Saturday 12 June 2021 and will be a webinar event.
The Conference is for all NASUWT disabled members and will be fully accessible.
Free for NASUWT members.
The NASUWT are delighted to announce that the Rt Hon Lord David Blunkett and Vicky Foxcroft MP, Shadow Minister for Disabled People, will be participating in the panel discussion titled 'The unequal impact of the COVID pandemic on disabled people'. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions to the panel on the day.
Additional sessions will cover 'member wellbeing' and 'identifying and addressing disability discrimination in the workplace'.
The event will also be the first opportunity for Dr Patrick Roach, to address the Disabled Conference as the General Secretary of the NASUWT.
The NASUWT is fully committed to ensuring that all members are able to attend this event so any 'additional access' requests should be submitted to the Conference and Events team. These must be received by Friday 28 May 2021 to allow us time to implement these. Whilst we will do our very best to implement all access requests, we cannot guarantee any adjustments received after this date.
