The NASUWT uses the term Black in a political and inclusive sense to describe those who self-identify as African, Caribbean and Asian identities and those with a common and direct history of racism, racist oppression and diminished opportunities in todays society. This Consultation Conference aims to enable members to engage with the key issues and challenges facing the Union, share experiences, meet other members and shape the future of the Union.
Issues arising from the Conference will be used to inform NASUWT policy and practice, and influence the Union's work with Government, national bodies, schools and colleges on anti-racism.
A crche facility will be provided for those who require childcare provision during the Conference.
Please note that, due to high demand, crche places are primarily allocated to any members who are:
" attending the event alone with their child(ren); or
" with a partner who is also registered to attend the event.
Please contact the Conferences and Events team if you require creche provision via email at [email protected]
FREE to all NASUWT members including NQTs and students.
