The NASUWT is keeping in touch with members through a programme of online webinars.
Lockdown and social distancing have been in effect since March, but the Union is working hard to ensure that the risks of coronavirus have not left you feeling isolated from the advice and support you rely on.
The Union is fully committed to continuing to use all channels possible to provide expert guidance on the issues you're facing in circumstances that are unprecedented in our lifetimes, so we've recently added Crowdcast to our communications network.
Crowdcast is a live video platform that is compatible on most platforms and devices, including tablets and smartphones, so that you don't even have to move off your sofa to join us.
You can join us for these webinars by registering on our Crowdcast channel.
All webinars last 30 minutes from 7pm and include a live Q&A. Coming up this week, we have:
- Tuesday 16th June – Issues for supply teachers during the current Covid-19 period
- Wednesday 17th June – Individual risk assessments
- Thursday 18th June – Workload issues during the current Covid-19 period
As well as our live webinars, all our previous webinars area available to watch again. Subject areas included so far have been remote learning and curriculum issues, the specific problems faced by newly qualified teachers and leaders during the COVID-19 period, assessing the risks around the opening of schools to more students, and the urgent need to address the increased incidence of the disease that our BME members face.
You can catch up with all of these and sign up for alerts on the NASUWT Crowdcast channel.
