The Handbook covers teachers in sixth form colleges and is similar to the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document and Burgundy Book for teachers in schools.
This Handbook sets out all the issues that have been agreed in the National Joint Council for Staff in Sixth Form Colleges. Colleges are recommended to adopt them, but teachers should refer to local agreements in place. Current information concerning pay for staff in sixth form colleges is available in the following sections of the NASUWT website:
