Teachers' Salaries in England and Wales, including London and the Fringe

In the 'Resources' section below, you will find the salary scales for all teacher and school leadership posts in maintained schools in England and Wales, including London and the Fringe. 

The salary scale for teachers has six annual increase points followed by a three point pay scale for post-threshold teachers. Teachers with additional responsibilities are placed on one of the two levels of Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) payments. Teachers have the opportunity to apply for leadership posts, Advanced Skills Teacher posts and Excellent Teacher posts.
