Women Teachers' Careers Report
A research report on women teachers' careers which aims:
- To examine the nature and characteristics of women teachers’ careers;
- To track the trends in women teachers’ pay, pensions and conditions of service
- To explore the routes women take into teaching;
- To identify the factors which impede/assist women teachers’ careers;
- To explore the extent of occupational segregation in relation to subject specialism, age/phase of pupils taught;
- To document the current trends in the progression of women teachers into leadership grades.
