The NASUWT’s response to the joint Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA), Welsh Assembly Government Department for Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills (DELLS) and Council for the Curriculum Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) consultation on proposed revisions to GCSE criteria. sets out the Union’s views on the key issues which need to be taken into account in the development of effective GCSE criteria and highlights some specific concerns which arise from changes to the ways in which awarding bodies are required to develop subject specifications.
