Induction Guidance for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland
The NASUWT produces guidance for newly qualified teachers on the induction/probation period that they will have to go through when taking up their first teaching posts. It is important to note that the induction/probation periods have some differences depending on what country newly qualified teachers are going to teach in, therefore newly qualified teachers should use the guide that is appropriate to where they are going to teach.
Within the resources section of this page, there are links to pages that summarise the information newly qualified teachers will need to know about the induction process within each nation of the UK.
