The provisions of the Financial Services Act restrict the NASUWT to providing only generic advice to members considering whether to make additional pensions provision.
The following guidance has been prepared for the Teachers' Panel of the Teachers' Superannuation Working Party by Bacon & Woodrow, the Consulting Actuaries to the Teachers' Panel. Bacon & Woodrow is regulated by the Actuarial Profession in the conduct of UK investment business and has provided general guidance on the choices open to teachers wishing to make additional pensions provision. Bacon & Woodrow cannot give specific advice to members and you should consider the guidance in the light of your personal circumstances, and seek independent financial advice, if appropriate.
