  • The NASUWT actively encourages students to become involved in their local area.
  • Newly qualified teachers have told us that prior involvement in the NASUWT has given them the confidence to go into their first workplace already feeling part of a team and knowing that support is there should it be needed.
  • Becoming active in the NASUWT enables you to meet new people and become a part of the wider trade union movement.

The NASUWT strives to recruit contacts within each training establishment to act as a link between NASUWT student members and the Local Association.
