Annual Conference 2011 Exhibition - Friday 22 - Sunday 24 April

The NASUWT has members in all sectors, from early years to further education, and represents teachers in all roles, including headteachers and deputies.

Over 1,000 representatives of the Union will attend the NASUWT Annual Conference at the SECC, Glasgow. These representatives are active within schools and colleges and are the voice of the membership. Many delegates will be headteachers, deputies or departmental heads with purchasing power – the REAL decision makers. The NASUWT Annual Conference also attracts many young members and newly qualified teachers (NQTs) giving you, the exhibitor, a wide range of teaching professionals to meet with.

The NASUWT Exhibition will be held in Hall 2 of the SECC. Alongside the Exhibition will be a variety of NASUWT stands, including the delegate registration desk, the delegate ‘chill-out zone’ and a catering area. Hall 2 promises to be a lively place for the duration of the Conference!

The Exhibition opens on Friday 22 April (Good Friday) at midday to all Conference delegates. There is an opening of the Exhibition, including a reception for the NASUWT Executive Committee, overseas visitors, invited dignitaries and VIP guests, which runs from 4.00pm to 5.30pm on Friday afternoon.

On Saturday the Exhibition opens at 8.30am and closes at 5.30pm and on Sunday the exhibition opens at 8.30am and closes at 2.30pm, giving you plenty of time to meet with all delegates and visitors. An open invitation to visit the Exhibition has been extended to all the NASUWT members in Glasgow and surrounding areas. With schools closed for the Easter holidays, we expect a good number of additional members to visit.

The NASUWT Annual Conference and Exhibition is the perfect environment for companies wishing to meet dedicated teaching professionals.

Who should exhibit?

Companies providing any services or materials relevant to early years through to secondary and special educational needs (SEN) in addition to resources on school leadership and management issues should consider this event as an excellent face-to-face opportunity to promote products and services to NASUWT delegates representing all regions throughout the UK.
