Rarely Cover
Since 1st September 2009, all schools in England and Wales have been required to have in place robust policies and procedures to ensure that teachers and headteachers cover only rarely in unforeseeable circumstances.
The National Rewards and Incentives Group (RIG) has now agreed a definition of rarely cover and associated guidance for inclusion in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document (STPCD). For more information, follow the links below.
