Personal injury advice
NASUWT Members are entitled to full casework (and legal) advice, support and representation regarding personal injury. This service is provided through an integrated network of elected and salaried officials and retained specialist solicitors. The Union also provides a legal advice service for non-employment matters. The NASUWT Benevolent Fund can provide short-term financial assistance during times of hardship.
Employment-related
The NASUWT uses expert solicitors in the pursuit of personal injury claims for compensation which arise out of work-related accidents, illness and assault.
Non-employment related
This service provides advice and representation for members and their families for all accidents outside the workplace including road traffic accidents, and for non work-related disease or illness.
