Ordering NASUWT publications
A publication is defined for the purposes of the website as a publication that can be ordered from the NASUWT in hard copy.
The Union produces other literature which cannot be ordered from the Union in hard copy. These are defined within the website as ‘Documents and Reports’ and are best searched for via the advanced search facility selecting ‘Documents and Reports’ from the type of resource filter.
NASUWT publications are available to download from the website in pdf or word format and it is anticipated that this will meet the needs of most members. If hard copy is required, NASUWT publications can be ordered using the online facilities provided within the website.
There are 3 ways in which you can find the publication you require:
(a) Go to the ‘Events, Training and Publications’ section of the website and choose ‘Publications’. Then identify the subject section that the publication is likely to be associated with and select from the list presented.
You can view the publication by clicking the title or you can access the summary and ordering page by clicking the link below the introduction.
(b) Go to the Resource Finder and select ‘Publications’.
You can then refine your search by using the Area, Subject and Sector filters. If the publication is associated with a particular nation (England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland) then select the appropriate nation from the Area list. The England regions do not, at this stage, have publications associated with them.
(c) Go to the search facility and input an appropriate word or phrase. If there are too many results generated simply refine your search using the advanced search facility at the top of the list of search results. The advanced search facility will allow you to refine the search as follows:
(i) all words or exact phrase;
(ii) location
(iii) type of resource – choose publication
(iv) date – if you know how recently it was published
All three options provide ordering options. If members login prior to ordering a publication then the ordering process will be much quicker as all your personal details will be prefilled on the order form.
