Member Alerts
The Union can use the website to generate two types of alerts:
(i) Personal Alerts
There will be occasions when the Union will wish to convey a particular message to a group of members.
For example, if there is a Consultation Conference in the Eastern Region for young members it is possible for the Union to place a message in the Interactive Zone - Personal Alerts section of the website to inviting members under 30 years of age working in the Eastern region to register for the event.
Members must login to the website to view personal alerts.
(ii) General Alerts
There will be occasions when the Union will wish to convey a general message to all members.
In this event the Union can place a message in the Interactive Zone – General Alerts section of the website.
All users of the website will see these messages as no login is required.
